The Top Dog Award of Club Barbet Canada is accessible to all members of Club Barbet Canada. 

This prize is awarded to the Barbet with the most conformation points in one year.  The points are calculated on the previous year by using the system of points from the Canadian Kennel Club. The first year of reference is 2011, which is the first year following the national status of Club Barbet Canada. 

The prizes are awarded to those who submit the request and qualify by the time of the National Specialty of the Club.  When a specialty is not held in a given year, the award will be presented at the Annual General Meeting of the Club.
